Kim Fe Cramer
LSE FINANCE
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
I am an Assistant Professor at the LSE Finance Department. I obtained my Ph.D. from Columbia Business School. As an empirical researcher in household finance, I explore how financial policies in developing countries affect households.
In my job market paper, I use a policy of the Reserve Bank of India to show that banks can substantially improve households' health status. Banks offer health insurance to households and credit to hospitals, stimulating demand and supply in the health care market.
I will next present at the Boulder Summer Conference May 21-23, SFS Cavalcade May 22-25, Imperial College Business School May 31, FIRS Conference June 2-4, the Rome Junior Finance Conference June 15-16, and SAET Paris July 17. You can also learn about my research on the World Bank Development Impact Blog.
