LSE FINANCE DEPARTMENT
I am an Assistant Professor at the LSE Finance Department. I recently obtained my Ph.D. from Columbia Business School. I study how the financial sector drives progress in developing countries. In my job market paper, I use a nationwide natural experiment in India to examine the impact of bank presence on health. In a series of randomized controlled trials in Kenya, I ask whether health insurance should be subsidized.
I will next present at the European Economics Association Meeting in Milan August 22nd to 26th, the GRAFSI Conference in Zurich September 5th to 7th, at the HEC Paris Finance Department on October 6th, and the AEA January 6th to 8th. You can also learn about my research on the World Bank Development Impact Blog and the Podcast Ideas of India.
