Kim Fe Cramer

I am an Assistant Professor at the LSE Finance Department. I recently obtained my Ph.D. from Columbia Business School. I study how the financial sector drives progress in developing countries. In my job market paper, I use a nationwide natural experiment in India to examine the impact of bank presence on health. In a series of randomized controlled trials in Kenya, I ask whether health insurance should be subsidized.

I will next present at the University of Oklahoma October 17th, the FMA October 26th, the University of London, City, November 16th, the Emerging Scholars in Banking and Finance conference December 1st, the IFS/STICERD/UCL development seminar December 8th, the WEFIDEV seminar December 12th, and the AEA January 6th to 8th. You can also learn about my research on the World Bank Development Impact Blog and the Podcast Ideas of India.
