Kim Fe Cramer
PHD CANDIDATE, COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL
I am a PhD Candidate in Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. I study what role the financial sector can play in improving households' wellbeing. In my job market paper, I use a nationwide natural experiment in India to examine the impact of bank presence on health. In a series of randomized control trials in Kenya, I ask whether health insurance should be subsidized. I will be on the U.S. and European job market in 2021/2022.
I recently present at the CEPR European Conference on Household Finance on October 6th (receiving the PhD Student Prize). I will next present at the AFA Poster Session on January 7th-9th 2022. You can also learn about my research soon at the World Bank All About Finance Blog and the Ideas of India Podcast.
