Kim Fe Cramer

I am an Assistant Professor at the LSE Finance Department. I recently obtained my Ph.D. from Columbia Business School. I study how the financial sector drives progress in developing countries. In my job market paper, I use a nationwide natural experiment in India to examine the impact of bank presence on health. In a series of randomized controlled trials in Kenya, I ask whether health insurance should be subsidized.

I will next present at NTU Singapore March 21st, NUS Singapore March 22nd, the German Center for Development Research (ZEF) April 9th, and the CEPR Advanced Forum for Financial Economics (CAFFE) May 9th. You can also learn about my research on the World Bank Development Impact Blog and the Podcast Ideas of India.
